What Our Customers Think
“Nature Nurse products allow me the opportunity to micro-dose my way to health and wellness. The transdermal patch provides a slow release into my blood stream, while I would use the Cocoa Cannabinoids 2.5 mg with micro dosing to try and decrease or eliminate the social anxiety or the paranoia that I would feel if my PTSD was triggered, or if my thoughts were running away from me.” – N.P.
Why We Choose Plants for People
Ethnobotany is the study of how people of a particular culture and region make use of indigenous plants. Since their earliest origins, humans have depended on plants for their primary needs and existence. Plants provide food, medicine, shelter, dyes, fibers, oils, resins, gums, soaps, waxes, latex, tannins, and even contribute to the air we breathe. Many cultures also used plants in ceremonial or spiritual rituals.
Examining human life on earth requires understanding the role of plants in historical and current day cultures. Throughout time, countless peoples have tested and recorded the usefulness of plants. Those plants with beneficial uses were kept and utilized. Our cultures evolved by passing from generation to generation ever more sophisticated knowledge of plants and their usefulness. Even today, we depend upon plants and their important pollinators for our existence and survival.

Heather Manus, RN
Founder & Creator
Hello, I’m Nurse Heather
I have always been inspired by the power of Nature. Nature soothes the soul, refreshes the mind, and invigorates our bodies. Nature has been and always will be the Master Healer for humanity, providing balance and abundant inspiration for all who turn to her for assistance and comfort.
My love affair with Nature began long before becoming a Registered Nurse.
As a child growing up in New Mexico, I was exposed to a bounty of blessings from my mother’s vegetable and flower gardens, fruit tree orchard, and the joy of playing on a swing that hung from an expansive and well-aged cottonwood tree in the backyard. From my earliest memories, I remember watering the flowers with mom, playing in the soft green grass that tickled my feet, and eating juicy sun-warmed grapes straight off the vine.
As I, and my love for Nature grew, knowledge & understanding of the mysteries of nature began to unfold. I sought out formal training regarding horticulture and master gardening, but the real revelations took place after being accepted into a culture of ancient plant medicine healers. I was taught traditional herbalism, medicine making, and healing practices from highly respected Native American healers and wise Hispanic curanderas.
I learned how to care for the members of my community; in mind, body, and spirit.
Carrying this wisdom with me, I decided to expand my education by becoming a Nurse and entering the Western medicine healthcare system. By nature, I embodied the philosophy of holistic nursing and witnessed phenomenal success from patients by utilizing Nature as a complimentary way to obtain & maintain health. During this journey as a healer, I also learned many lessons from my patients. The most important lesson perhaps, was learning about the miraculous benefits of cannabis medicine.
As a result, my knowledge became important and beneficial to the legal medical cannabis industry. I began utilizing cannabis and cannabinoids as an additional ingredient to create many powerful healing medicines for legal patients. I learned the laws involved to keep myself and patients safe.
I’m continually delighted to hear that Nature Nurse customers are experiencing the intended benefits from our products that have been infused with care, compassion and the power of Nature. I’ve heard stories from our customers where our products have enhanced their mother’s vitality, helped their grandpa live a more pain-free life, or has brought back their sister’s glow.
